This is a revered Vaishnavite temple located at the foot of Mangalagiri hill in Guntur district. It is part of the trio of Narasimha temples on and around the hill and is considered one of the eight sacred “Mahakashetras” of Lord Vishnu The temple features a large eleven-storey gopuram (tower) built in the Dravidian style, and the shrine has deep historical roots tracing back to Vijayanagara times and earlier.
