Amareswara (Amaralingeswara) Temple
This is an ancient Shiva temple (also called Amaralingeswara Temple) situated on the banks of the Krishna River in Amaravathi town of Guntur district. It is one of the Pancharama Kshetras dedicated to Lord Shiva The temple is known for its massive stone Shivalingam (reportedly about 15 feet high) and richly carved architecture
