A forest guard was caught taking a bribe in Himachal Pradesh’s Nalagarh, demanding money to suppress the case of tree felling.
Jagran Correspondent, Nalagarh. A forest guard was caught taking a bribe by a vigilance team in Himachal Pradesh’s Solan district. The team of Vigilance Police Station Baddi has taken this action in the Dabhota beat area of Nalagarh. The accused has been identified as Sameer, who was posted in Dabhota under the Nalagarh forest department. This action of vigilance was taken under the leadership of DSP Dr. Pratibha Chauhan. After receiving the complaint, the team set up a trap and caught the accused on the spot while accepting a bribe of Rs 5,000. The vigilance team took this action on the complaint of the victim.
